Children and Archery
One of the questions we often get asked about archery lessons is, “how old does my little one have to be, to do archery?” Through experience, we have come to learn that for the environment in which we teach archery, 6 years old is the minimum age. The most important factor with a child learning archery is their ability to accept and follow instructions & direction from us, the teachers and behave in a safe way. Also, to be able to understand the need to respect the archery equipment which they are provided with.
It is also important for parents/guardians to play an active part in aiding all of the aforementioned.
If there’s anything that we need to be aware of beforehand concerning your child, please let us know. This will help us to better prepare for giving your child the best experience possible!
